RAM (Random Access Memory) is one of the main components to run the computer system. When RAM broken then the computer system will not work. Consider the following tips to repair of defective RAM.
Here are steps to repair the defective RAM :
1. Clean the RAM by rubbing on the memory pins with the cleaning cloth. You may also give a little thinners to clean the dust, and the cloth friction will also be fishing the ions on the memory pins to be stimulated and the conductor will be more active also.
2. Pointing The Avometer to the Ohm scale (to measure barriers), you may choose in the free position of 1K, 10K, 100K.
3. Take the negative needle or negative pin (-) Avometer (Usually in black cable) and then stick to one of pin or memory leg. For The positive needle (usually in red cable) friction it to the set of IC legs or memory chipset. When the memory has 8 pieces of ICs then friction the positive needle (+) to the all legs of the 8 ICs.
4. Done. Install the RAM back to slot on the Mainboard.
